We’re currently down in sunny Kent, enjoying some quality time watching the racing at Brands Hatch.
Yesterday afternoon was spent testing our Light Yellow Porsche 911 RSR. Testing went well, though one of our front torsion bar adjusters gave us some grief, mid-way through the first session.
The adjuster gave up as we were hard on the gas through Paddock Hill Bend: not the most ideal place for any part to fail! Our front splitter was none too impressed, but it looks like we have managed to sort it now.
James clocked up some miles in the car through the second session and was posting some decent times towards the end of the 25 minutes.
Tomorrow is race day. Qualifying for our Masters 70s Celebration with JD Classics Challenge event runs for 25 minutes, from 10:40 to 11:05, with the 40-minute race in the late afternoon, from 16:40 to 17:20. Fingers crossed we get on alright!
